JayR has just released his very first album under Universal Records label. And yet it feels like has been around for long as he's fast becoming one established act.

His already big audience gets bigger and bigger, as his always much awaited numbers in his regular Sunday noontime show, "SOP", reach out to mesmerized viewers.

Just what exactly is this new R&B guy named Jay R? How can he weave such musical magic? Why do fans flock to his live shows? Endless questions but each one of them has an apt answer.

First of all, JayR Sillona is one unique individual. Born and raised in the U.S.A., his parents -- Jun and Ampy Aquino Sillona -- have always supported and encouraged him to be a musical artist.

Of course he was not born with a microphone as his twin brother, but JayR started performing since childhood. At age 13, he was already a member of a band.

At the tender age of 16, he was already a "veteran" recording session musician. After performing in gigs all around Southern California, JayR provided back-up vocals to recordings of leading artists whose albums have been released in the U.S., Latin America, the Philippines and major music territories. Soon he was already co-writing songs with these foreign artists. His collaborations with the likes of Steve Singer (Donna Cruz, Vanna Vanna, Jason Everly), Gary Brown (Gladys Knight, Kenny Latimore, *NSync), Triangle Productions (Lenny Lenny Krevitz), Dutch Cousin (702, Dru Hill), Chuck Cymone (All 4 One, Troop) have further honed JayR's musical/recording skills.

It is not surprising that with his very first album, JayR already sounds like a seasoned performer. That's what exactly he is. His raw musical talents, tempered and refined by years of actual recording and live-performing experiences.

Most fittingly, JayR's debut "GAMEFACE" album has simply become a major musical happening. All the carefully selected songs in the initial outing are actual musical proofs that this young man is a topnotch R&B artist.

The carrier single "Design For Luv" is already an airlane favorite. It is destined to be a giant hit as music TV stations consistently play the "Design For Luv" video, filmed and produced in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.

In 10 cuts of JayR's "GAMEFACE" album, respected American producers like Troy Johnson, Ian Boxhill and Bryson Evans worked with the Fil-Am artist.

The songwriter in JayR has also been in harness as he co-wrote several songs in "Gameface". Surely a few of these collaborations will hit worldwide charts.

After all, JayR is truly a world-class artist and he is a sure bet to international stardom.
