2007 is another banner year for Asia's multi platinum pop idol Christian Bautista as he continues to walk through stardom. He is overwhelmed on the favorable developments in his entertainment career. One of these is the release under Warner Music Philippines of his much awaited CD: "Just a Love Song...Christian Bautista Live! that contains 19 classic hits from the 70s to the 90s. The project was a big challenge for Christian Bautista for he recorded the entire repertoire in a live session that didn't have any room for re-takes. But being a real trouper, he passed it with flying colors.

One would derive great pleasure in listening to Christian's live album. No matter what age bracket you belong, it will surely warm your heart because Christian interpreted each cut with its original feel while injecting a very contemporary soulful, pop sound. The live recording session featured as music accompaniment a five piece band, a string section and a grand piano. It was recorded before an all female live audience at Teatrino in Greenhills. The event was supported by Yamaha, Greenwich, Dunkin' Donuts and Essensuals Tony & Guy.

Awesome is how to describe the repertoire of "Just A Love Song.... Christian Bautista Live!." The set is led by his version of a Barry Manilow original, "Trying To Get The Feeling Again" which is the CD's lead off single. He moves back the hands of time with such greatly loved songs, "More Than You'll Ever Know," "Only Reminds Me Of You," "Beautiful In My Eyes," "Make It With You," "Got To Believe In Magic," "Fixing A Broken Heart "Could Not Ask For More," "Of All the Things," "Nothing Can Stop Us Now," "Be My Number Two," "Finding Out The Hard Way," "Blue Eyes Blue," "Cry For Help," "Heaven's Help," "I Won't Hold You Back," "If Ever You're In My Arms Again," Basil Valdez's "You," and the title track.

Upon its market release, Just A Love Song...Christian Bautista Live!" debuted in Odyssey Records' Top 8 chart during the holiday season. The CD is currently holding strongly to its top position in the music retail. And at the rate it's selling, the CD is likely to follow the highly successful sales pattern achieved by Warner Music Philippines' previously released live albums of Nina and Sitti.

A meet and greet to be staged in different malls are scheduled to fully launch the CD. Like his previously released albums, Warner Music Philippines will also release "Just A Love Song—Christian Bautista Live!" all over Asia.
